The VR system motivated the participants to “pick” and “buy” different ingredients and seasonings in an old grocery store, and enjoy the cooking procedures in a “traditional” kitchen interactively in a funny way. While enjoying the memorable old time, the targeted elderly would be facilitated to do different exercises while playing the cooking game, for example “chopping” ingredients and “cooking” noodles by arms movement. A performance report of every individual targeted elderly would be provided, upon the tasks completion for better sense of self satisfaction and finally better commitment to the “training process” afterwards.
